Set within Parnell’s historic Textile Building, the newly opened Hana Wellness Space by Pennant & Triumph brings a fresh sense of calm to a century-old industrial structure. Building on their earlier work with Hana in Grey Lynn, Justin Roderique and the Pennant & Triumph team approached the Parnell space with a clear intention: to honour the character of the original building while shaping an environment that feels elevated, contemporary, and deeply restorative.

At the heart of the waiting area sits a custom curved banquette designed in collaboration with Tim Webber. This piece serves not only as a functional anchor for the space but as a sculptural gesture—its soft radius, tailored upholstery, and refined detailing echoing the warm serenity that defines Hana’s approach to wellness. The banquette’s fluid form helps guide the movement of the room, creating a welcoming moment of pause as guests arrive. In a space where architectural history meets modern wellbeing, the custom seating embodies the balance of craftsmanship, comfort, and quiet luxury that the project set out to achieve.
