About Tim Webber

Tim Webber’s journey as a designer began not in a showroom, but in the workshop - drawn to the tools, materials and quiet discipline of making. Born and raised in New Zealand, Tim studied a Bachelor of Design and quickly developed a passion for creating objects that are as functional as they are beautiful.
In 2009, fresh out of university, he launched his own studio - driven by the belief that good design should feel effortless, but never be without substance. What started as a small workshop operation has since evolved into Tim Webber, a design brand known for its refined aesthetic, architectural influence, and meticulous attention to detail.
Guided by curiosity and a refined design sensibility, Tim's work speaks to the beauty of restraint - where subtle detailing, clean lines and thoughtful proportions quietly take centre stage.
The studio draws inspiration from the landscapes, light, and cultural textures of Aotearoa, while maintaining a globally attuned design language. Our collections are created with both residential and commercial spaces in mind, and can be found in homes, cafés, hotels and workspaces around the world.
We collaborate closely with local craftspeople and trusted manufacturers, blending traditional techniques with modern production methods to ensure every piece is crafted with integrity and built to last. From concept to completion, we obsess over the details - because we know it’s the quiet confidence of a well-resolved object that elevates a space.
At Tim Webber, we design with people in mind - creating enduring pieces that are not only considered and elegant, but are made to be lived with, loved, and passed on.
