Matter Coffee Table

The Matter Coffee Table is a statement of balance, precision, and refined craftsmanship - a meeting of design disciplines that bridges automotive innovation and contemporary furniture. Created by Tim Webber in collaboration with Audi, the piece draws inspiration from the sculpted form of the Audi A6 Avant e-tron.

Crafted with polished stainless steel plinth legs and a softly contoured marble tabletop, Matter mirrors the car’s interplay of strength and fluidity. The table’s base echoes the structural poise and engineered finesse of Audi’s design language, while the marble top’s subtle curves reflect the vehicle’s aerodynamic silhouette.

Beyond it's form, Matter embodies the physical and philosophical essence of materiality - grounding and substantial, yet inherently refined. It's name speaks to both the geological depth of marble and the precision futurism of the steel beneath it - a tangible anchor in any space, celebrating the dialogue between innovation and timeless design.
